2004-11-25 [Kaimee]: i think you should darken the lineart and not colour it, ie, colour skin, eye colour etc, but leave the lineart exactly as is. just darker.

Go ahead and vote for her...its just that votes should not be made public like that before a contest has ended, it is discouraging when you want to enter something, and while browsing the page you find comments like that. I have met people who haven't entered contest because of things like that.

2004-12-03 [Kaimee]: ok, that makes sense:P but i still dont agree on this whole no talking about your favourites, or who youre going to vote for thing. in fact, i think its better, might discourage ppl getting their friends to vote for them. makes it obvious anyways, and girl, contests are for competing. there will always be winners, placing, favourites. if ppl cant deal with any hint of rejection... then they shouldnt be entering, because thats not what competing is about. Im in this to compete with my pic against others, not for everyone to pander about and pretend they dont have a favourite, to save ppls feelings.

I will promptly remove my second entry - didn't mean to ruffle any feathers. And since it doesn't fit in it wouldn't have been counted anyway - so no harm done.

I'm not trying to get the artist in trouble - only pointing out that by the example of other artists i didn't think i was breaking the rules. I honestly just missed the no fanart rule. Sorry again.
